Great guest Fritzy! Wyndham comes off way more likable that what he has been portrayed.
I think it's a real shame that the locker room incident is all some people can see. Clark showed amazing grit to overcome the course, himself, Scottie, the crowd and what was at stake. Deserves a lot of credit.
Of course danny, the arrogant negative know it all alcoholic… wanted to ask about the crowd jeering and booing from THE VERY FIRST QUESTION…But he played it coy and waited till halfway through the interview…. Sly…Danny is all about the negative and controversy… typical alkies..👎👎👎
I like Wyndham and he played really well under very difficult circumstances. He deserved to win, congratulations brother.
Does anyone ask better questions than Dan Patrick?
I think it's good to see that players, like all people, are works in progress. We all have work to do and it was an impressive win that he came through in that environment. And loved what he did at the Canadian Open. His interaction with fans there was great!
Congratulations WC, Go Ducks! ⛳️
why does the media suck up to this guy so much?
Typical New York crowd
2 time U.S Open champion 🏆
This guy is a great player! Only a few golfers in the world have 2 of the most difficult tournaments in the world to win
Dan Patrick asking some dumb questions.
Stand up guy , ppl need to forgive for that deal at Oakmont. Look at Tigers off field antics much worst
Literally a regular guy that had a regular golf blow up. Every single competitive golfer has acted as bad if not worse than Clark on the golf course.
I was embarrassed for that crowd
to be clear, some fans weren't rooting against him, they just wanted the finish to be competitive.
Clark hung in there and deserves all the accolades, well played.
That three wood on Saturday into the par 5, sank the eagle putt, wow, I was like, "ok, he deserves this victory."
Wyndham is just a villain hero kind of guy. Week before last at the Canadian Open, where he contended until the final round, he wore a team USA Jack Hughes hockey jersey on the "rink hole" to rile up us Canadians over the 2026 Olympics loss. It was a hilarious bit of trolling IMO! Pretty sure he even made birdie just to twist the knife. But then on another hole, he and his playing partner were furiously sweeping leaves / seeds off the green to clear the path for their putts. They wanted a maintenance crew to come out and blow off the entire green. You could hear Wyndham's caddy (I think) on the green-side mic shout "are you guys really going to make a U.S. Open champion wait like this?!?". Pure arrogance and entitlement. A polarizing figure.
I don't get the hate. Sure, trashing a locker room wasn't a good move but he's a great player and I totally root for him.
This is the worse intery
Disappointed in Dan Patrick
There’s nothing complicated about it. The simple problem is he’s a cheater.. the greater problem is the majority of people watching either 1) don’t understand that he’s a cheater, 2) don’t care that he’s a cheater or 3) both.
He’s a cheater because he improves his lie virtual every time he’s in the rough and every single time he’s in the deep rough or fescue.
When are you going to have Nelly on?
Wyndham is going to win The Open Championship, next year he will lead the team to Victory at Adair Manor ❤️
@golffitness – you only grow when you grow through dark and hard times, without trials and tribulations true, deep growth is difficult. I know how hard W has worked on himself and his game and this weekend is proof of a breakthrough on many levels. Congrats for all the things you surpassed in grinding out one of the hardest played golf tournaments I've ever seen. God Bless you.
A classy guy. Rooted for him to win.
Dan Patrick…what douche, sits there and thinks he knows everything. Get a real job.
Americans have won 8 of the last 11 golf majors. Total domination.
Yes Wyndham you had some things go your way. Especially hole 9 they didn't call stance area penalty. Incredible performance though. Enjoy.
