This week the handicap series heads overseas to South Korea. I am on Jeju Island taking on the stunning Ananti Jeju, and to stay on track in the series I have to break par. The coastal wind and the length make it a proper test. Can I do it?

  1. Haters gonna hate and potatoes gonna potate. You are a better golfer than 98% of the people who watch your videos, and you would smash it at an easy public course. Loving this series, Rick! Oh, by the way, despite you being miles better than me, I bet I could beat you in a putting comp, using my £20 putter. I'm the best in the world! Cue me choking on camera.😂😂

  8. Rick I think people do not understand that you play of the back tees on some very difficult and some of the hardest courses in the world so your handicap is probably close to what your playing.

  9. Well done! One over on that long course on those slow wet greens and the with that misty rain is impressive Rick. Had the course been dry and the ball rolled out more normally you could have easily shot a 66.

  11. The comments from people previously regarding your current handicap clearly don’t understand the WHS. Regardless, not only are you definitely playing the best golf I’ve seen you play on YT, you seem to be enjoying yourself so much more. I’m sure there’s a combination of factors causing it, but it’s great to see.

  12. Front 9 – a couple of putts left fractionally short – otherwise you would've been under par.
    The dew made an already long course, even longer.
    I think, given a nice sunny day, you would've gone under par easily, if you played the same.
    For a start, those putts that pulled up short, would've rolled on straight into the hole – probably 5 of those in that round.
    Still – we've all gotta play the conditions that are in front of us.

  13. I retired to Asia from the US in 2015. Caddies are mandatory here, unlike the US. I enjoy my golf more because of the friendship I’ve developed with my caddie over the last 10+ years. His loyalty and integrity are top notch. Rick, the change in your driver distance from a few years ago is amazing. If you improve your iron play the same way, +4 is not out of reach. The 73 on a wet day at a 7500 yard course was superb. Well done.

  25. I once heard a story that the hole is making this sound because traditionally in Japan (in Korea?) you should not watch people when they are putting. But in a tournament you will for sure be able to hear it fall.

  27. Absolutely love seeing you hit the ball so well Rick, well played and great content. If the irons start going closer to the pin and you putt well you will shoot a 66 in 2026….
