I’ve been a ProV1 user since they first came out 26 years ago, with the odd detour, and I have been fitted for them, but being retired now and nearly £60 a dozen is getting ridiculous, especially now there are balls a good bit cheaper and perform just as well if not better! I can get the AVX for £40 or less for multi buy! I got some Seed SD-01 to try £2.07 a ball!🤷🤷Tried the TP5 and the Tour Response, new micro coating was rubbish, destroyed after 2 wedge shots!

  2. Just bought the Titleist Trufeel's – 24 Balls for £45. I have to admit they don't feel as good as the Kirklands but its nice to look down and see Titleist I have to admit without having to pay crazy money

  5. First impression of the Hogan ball based on your video for me shows that it seems to be competing well with the Pro V1. I think the bigger test would be to play each ball in an 18 hole test and see what the overall condition would be after the round. We all know how well the pro V1 holds up generally and to be honest that is where a lot of balls fall short from the Pro V1. But I loved Hogan irons and played them for many years from 1991 to 2003 and I am hoping to try the new irons when I can afford a new set. I will have to keep the Hogan ball in mind as well. Maybe you could do a test with The Hogan ball, Legatto, Seed and Pro V1 and see over 18 holes how well the balls play and you score using each brand……giving us all great insight on each brand.

  6. I remember when the Hogan ball was out around my HS/College years and I was one of the only guys on the team playing that over the Pro V'sa, loved that ball. This was a solid review, def going to scoop up a dozen or 2!
