Forgeway Golf | The Ultimate Failure of a Golf Ball

Forgeway Golf | The Ultimate Failure of a Golf Ball

For months, viewers have been asking me to take a closer look at Forgeway Golf. After reviewing the golf ball, digging deeper into the company’s claims, and experiencing some unexpected surprises along the way, it’s time to tell the full story.

In this video, I break down:

⛳ The actual performance of the Forgeway golf ball
📊 Independent launch monitor and on-course testing results
🔍 Claims about compression, construction, and cover material
🤖 The use of AI-generated advertising and marketing content
💳 The unexpected membership charges that appeared after purchase
📢 Whether the product delivers what golfers are being promised

This isn’t a personal attack on anyone—it’s simply a detailed look at my experience as a customer and golf ball tester. As always, I’ll present the evidence, show the data, and let you decide for yourself.

If you’ve purchased a Forgeway golf ball or have had your own experience with the company, let me know in the comments below.

  1. I see so many guys and seniors like me playing Prov1 that have no business playing them. because that's what real men play. watch this channel and find out is what i told them.

  2. Honestly, I remember this being a bit of a conversation with some other posters back when I found this channel. It wasn't AI obviously, that was just kicking in and wasn't a worry on YouTube just yet. But the idea of there being so many golf ball makers out there that scams or misrepresentations on the type of golf balls You were getting if you tried to get an Inexpensive product was bound to happen at some point. There's just too much money in the golf market. The dishonest monsters are out there somewhere.

This is why I support this channel. You are one person that can be trusted with your reviews and your observations. So long as you are and you're looking out for your viewers, I will happily continue to be a member of this channel.

  3. The vast majority of stuff for sale on Facebook is either garbage or a scam… Sometimes both! I bought a shirt once that was shipped from China. I'm 6'7" 255# and the 3XL shirt I received would fit nicely on a Ken doll! 🙂 Be warned … more quality public service from GBA! Thanks

  4. Well done & thank you for highlighting this. They started dropping into my Facebook account about a month ago (UK, so we're well behind USA), and the advertising sounded like a load of BS, so I haven't bought any (and actually wouldn't until you'd had a look at them, as you're the "gold standard" as far as golf ball reviews are concerned!!!!).

  5. I already feel like i got scammed by them. Was seeing the ads and was like hmmm lemme check it out. saw the price and figured why not try them and started going through the order process, i never made it to the final "confirmation page" i chose the single dozen, put my info in went to the next page where it asked if i wanted to add xyz to the order before confirming. i changed my mind after seeing reviews and backed out. Come to find out i was still charged for them and they are supposedly on the way. emailed about canceling the order i apparently made and they did get back to me quickly and said they cant cancel but i am free to return them immediately upon arrival. still fishy

  6. I ran into a somewhat similar issue with A golfball direct to consumer called Madd X. The balls were on but the cover being urethane or ionomer was somewhat disguised. They turned out to be 3 piece ionomer. I guess you have to be a little cautious.

  7. We appreciate the heads-up on stuff like this. Sleazeball companies like this need to be exposed. The only reason they would threaten legal action is if they actually are crooks who are trying to scam people.

  8. Dropshipper scams are getting far too common these days. I know the golf ball cutting was unpopular, but getting a look at the forgeway ball innards might shed some light on its construction.

  9. I'm in the "fighting to get out of the subscription" phase, will probably have to get a new card. Pardon my French but bastards like this damage even the legit DTC folks. Arghhh. Thanks for the update, Nick, unpleasant but necessary.
