Tiger Woods’ daughter Sam Alexis Woods celebrated her 19th birthday on June 18. As the daughter of the legendary professional golfer, Sam has spent much of her life in the public eye. Her journey has been documented over the years, from cheering on her father at major tournaments as a child to stepping onto the golf course herself as a young adult.
The golfer welcomed his daughter in June 2007, with ex-wife Elin Nordegren. Sam’s birth came just after Tiger finished second in the U.S. Open. “Our priorities are Sam. That’s the one priority. And you work it out from there,” he said at the time. “It was a dream come true for both Elin and myself.”
In 2025, Sam graduated from The Benjamin School in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida, which her younger brother Charlie also attends. Sam graduated with honors as a promising soccer player, leading the Benjamin School Buccaneers to victory in their first ever state championship earlier in 2025. She currently studies at Stanford University, her dad’s alma mater.

“They’re keen into soccer,” Tiger told Golf.com in 2018 about both of his children. “If they want to play golf, that’s great. If they don’t, that’s fine, too. As long as they have a good time playing sports.”
However, Sam has always been interested in supporting her father in his profession and even took on the role of caddie at the PNC Championship’s Pro-Am in 2023.
When she was a child, Sam was the spitting blend of both her parents with her round face, brown eyes, and dark hair. However, as she’s grown up, she’s begun to look more like her father.

Sam is often pictured wearing athleisure with her brown locks slicked back into a sleek ponytail. She keeps her makeup natural and minimal with a glowing complexion and a glossy lip. However, in 2022, Sam honored her dad at his World Golf Hall of Fame induction, wearing a bold red mini dress. The garment featured a sleeveless design with a high neckline and ruffled detailing. The skirt fell elegantly into an A-line silhouette. Sam’s hair was styled into bouncy curls and she opted for a dark smoky eye that oozed soft glam.

“We didn’t know if you’d come home with two legs or not,” she said in her speech. “Now, you’re not only about to be inducted into the Hall of Fame, but you’re standing here on your own two feet. This is why you deserve this. You’re a fighter, you’ve defied the odds every time.”
“I feel so honored to have been inducted into the @golfhalloffame tonight. Having Sam introduce me and my family there watching, it made it even that more special,” penned Tiger on social media following the event.
