Matt, I took my 3/4 irons out of the bag and use a 7 and 9 wood, Callaway Rogue. They are excellent when you are trying to land soft on long par 3's or long par 4's. Your video from a couple years ago talking about hybrid vs fairway wood. I pulled the trigger because of that video. You should link that video in the description.

Not trying to be overly judgmental however you are comparing these Takomo to a PXG. PXG isn't even close to being one of the best anything out there…. Additional the TR shaft might not be a best fit for you over the TR you have in the PXG…

Octane does nothing for gas mileage. High performance engines require it so pre-detonation doesn’t occur. The age of the motor isn’t a requirement for octane.
A good athlete can hit any club. If you’re a good ball striker, the club doesn’t matter.

FYI, the one thing people never talk about is how bad and inconsistent Takomo customer service is. So be mindful when ordering through them. They have issues with responding back in a timely manner. And stock items not actually In stock. This isn’t a shot at them but for the people to be informed.

Interesting review, thanks. I got fitted for a new 5w over the winter, which I love, and am thinking about getting a 7w to replace my old 3h … I don't really want to mix brands between the 5w and 5i, but I haven't been able to find an exact matching 7w yet so the Takomo 7w is an interesting possibility, especially if I can get a shaft that's similar to what's in my 5w..
Matt, can you provide the adjustability settings? Takomo uses a letter system from what I'm seeing but can't find which is up 2 degrees or down and what setting affect lie
You need to look at your owner’s manual to see what octane gas your vehicle calls for. Most likely it’s 87 octane. Putting in a higher octane will hurt your engine in the long run. Higher octane gas combusts at lower compression and can throw off the timing of your engine which is designed to work off combustion at higher compression.
