  1. I think the reality is somewhere in the middle. Justin still needs to be held accountable to a degree. Justin’s situation last year was far less than ideal, but I also think his pre-snap reads are below average.

The sack at 10:27 was completely Justin’s fault. He had 2 blitzers on his RT and kept his TE on a route. Either you dump it immediately to your TE or set him on a block assignment.

Now, with Mike McDaniel, I think the play calling with tons of motion will help his separation.

The Chargers haven’t been able to score in any playoff game. Everything looks super hard for them.

  2. So disingenuous to keep trying to compare these qbs that hasn’t won anything to a qb that’s literally won everything there is to win😂

  3. 0:08 NO NO NO!!! He’s been in the league all this time and zero playoff wins?! Herbert has done nothing!! Give him the same criticism they give Lamar Jackson

  4. I mean it’s easy for the media and people to stat watch and not look at the actual games to dog pile on Herbert. I’m convinced very few in media actually watch the games outside of highlights maybe

  5. Disrespect? Shouldn't he have done it by now? with all the hype, there needs to be a payoff at some point

Edit: why do you act like the chargers are only allowed to sign 5 OL? They sign backups like the rest of the league

  6. This season, the 2026 season, will be the Chargers best season ever. Many Charger fans point to the 2005 team. In 2006 the Chargers had the #1 offense in the AND the #1 defense in the NFL yet failed to win a single playoff game. In fact, in his 30 year career as a head coach over 3 franchises (Browns, Chiefs & Chargers) Marty Schottenheimer took 13 teams into the playoffs and won only 3 playoff games. Last year the Chargers had the 32nd ranked offensive line AND the 32nd ranked center. He retired.

  7. I don't understand why people have such a hard-on against Herbert. The dude just goes on about his business, barely talks to the media, plays through injuries, doesn't complain, and yes, has won a lot of games and has struggled in the postseason. Why so much hate?

  8. Whatever Justin Herbert does I don't care. But when he's playing the RAIDERS I hope he sees it from his ass. Whether it's on the bench or on the turf. Either way chargers beware of the RAIDERS this year because we're coming for you.

  9. All this empathy for Justin Herbert, a QB with zero playoff wins and also performs horribly. Nobody had the same energy for Lamar Jackson

  10. It’s a strange dynamic because while they dump on Herbert, even the haters would call him a top 10 qb at worst. They set an expectation the Chargers win a Super Bowl, but no matter what happens, it’s Justin’s fault. So not meeting expectations might be a viable criticism, but I would also say that about the team as a whole.

  11. Justin Herbert is a good Qb nothing more. He been in the league long enough for us to know. He comes up short in the big games. Don’t get me wrong I would love him on my Steelers bt he is as good as his stats say he his

  12. Justin is going to make Nick look stupid and choke on his words. I can’t wait to watch Kc start there down fall and in 3 year kc will be last in division maybe this year ….just watch
