When I regripped my driver last time I cut an inch off the butt. I wanted a mini driver but I realized I just wanted a shorter shaft. EZPZ
When I played with a 46 degree PW I carried a 52-56-60 set up. I still have an iron set with a 46, but now I like a tighter gapping so I’m going with a 50-54-58. My normal set has a 44 PW so it’s a 48-54 bent to 53 and a 58. Both sets are Mizunos.
Over my 50+ years of golf 12 of my iron sets have been Mizunos and I currently play the 243s. My backup set is a mint condition set of MP 67s. I had those bent to what used to be standard lofts, so a 21 degree 3 iron and a 46 PW.
I can't believe Tony copped to owning a Ridgeline.
Weird that like 70% of tour players use raw wedges including Tiger. Maybe they need Tony to set them straight.
Mizuno at least has options. My 2 home shops have seen DOZENS of collapsed face/cracked Taylormade drivers. I found that my set JPX 923 PW at 42.5° transitions well to my Cleveland CBX 48°, 52°, 56°, and Mizuno 22 60° Blue to remind myself to ask me if I should be attempting what I have planned in my head.
Buy the Kirkland wedges and bend them 2° strong. I'm sure they're not low bounce options. They can take it.
