Working at The Westin La Quinta Golf Resort & Spa is always a great experience from a cinematic point of view. One of the biggest advantages of this venue is its open-air dinner area, which allows me to capture stunning drone shots and showcase the full atmosphere of the event from a unique perspective.
The setting is beautifully balanced: on one side, the elegance of the hotel; on the other, the golf course and a breathtaking sea view that adds depth and color to every frame. Another key aspect is how well the ceremony, cocktail, and dinner areas are connected, allowing guests to enjoy every moment without missing anything—something that makes a big difference both for the experience and for storytelling in the film.
A detail I particularly appreciate is the orientation of the space. The couple’s table often benefits from beautiful natural light, standing out against the green and blue tones of the surroundings. This creates a strong visual contrast that enhances every shot.
It’s definitely a venue I highly recommend and one where I truly enjoy working.
