He was given judicial approval to pursue treatment abroad for prescription painkiller management. Authorities reported that when apprehended in late March, he had two hydrocodone pills in his possession, a potent and highly addictive pain medication. In 2025, Woods had his seventh back operation, along with surgery to address a torn Achilles tendon.
