The YouTube Handicap Tracker says I’m +1.1. That’s a plus handicap. Better than scratch. And apparently that puts me in the top 50 YouTube golfers in the world.

I’m not so sure.

So I’m putting it to the test. Every shot. No ego edits. Just the reality of whether a +1.1 handicap golfer can actually play to that number when the pressure is on and the scores count.

Am I legit? Or is the tracker just delusional? You decide.

  9. Jeepers Jonny. Greens should come with a health warning. I play on a cliff top course so have foudn the best way of dealing with a ball up the chuff is to tee it up & tw4t it out to sea. This, along with an offer to help them facilitate the retreival of their ball nips it in the bud with 100% success rate.

  10. Think there’s a huge problem these days with fast play !
    If you come out for a round of golf you’ve got to be thinking it’s gonna be around 4 hrs
    Then you get some spanner on his own or in a buggy 🛺 chasing you down like an escaped convict

  11. He's human after all. Not a bad round Jonny that looks like a crazy hard course though and those pins were diabolical. I'm curious too, did Paul ever get out of that horrid bunker or did he pick up? 😂 Also. I can't remember the hole but the one where you were on the top of the tee box and got underneath it. Sounded like someone was knocking on my door!

  13. I played a friendly match with 20-ish competitors yesterday. I managed to shoot an 87 as an 18HCP, and safe to say, my HCP dropped to a 17.2! I do aspire to get to where you're at Jonny, keep up the good work!

  14. I played Crosland Heath at the back end of winter a year or so ago and it absolutely murdered me. It must be tougher than I gave it credit. My mate did warn me about the heather. What a stunning course though and a tremendous day for your round!

  15. thx once again Jonny … played my 1st 'round' yesterday … dam it was hot but nice par at the 1st with 12 footer for birdie …. but that was it … all went to pot after that . Still recovering from the heat today 🥵🥵🥵

  18. Tbh Jonny, i can see theres a lot of local knowledge required to go low there. That or a lot of luck. The greens look a nightmare with landing positions really important and if you dont know them youre screwed. My home course kills people in open comps its also a heathland course with 1 usga green out of 18. Wilpshire in Blackburn its called. Please come and try it. Its a manicured hidden gem. All the best great content as always. And as ive said before, youre definitely a scratch golfer. Its abundantly clear in every level of your game

  24. Great video again , people saying it shows your human makes me laugh, I'd love to have one of your bad rounds 😂, some courses more than others definitely need playing twice!

    I ventured to Wales last week and found my perfect course , 5 hr round trip but definitely need to go again!

    Arwen est encore pliée en deux de rire…😅 … quand on pense qu'hier encore, elle nous a pondu un +7 au-dessus de son handicap sur notre parcours à domicile !
