Pebble Creek Country Club in south College Station has been sold to Bain Capital’s Concert Golf Partners, adding the club as its third location in Texas.

What you need to know

Based in Lake Mary, Fla., Concert Golf Partners owns more than 40 clubs throughout the United States. According to a news release, Concert Golf is committed to maintaining private clubs all over the country, along with reinvesting in the community.

A closer look

The club, which has been open since 1991, features 18 holes and a 60,000 square feet clubhouse. The club was sold to Triumph Golf in 2012, which invested heavily in maintenance and growth of the club’s course and membership.

Concert Golf said it chose the club because the tight knit community of Pebble Creek “aligns with Concert Golf’s vision for preserving the unique customs and traditions of our upscale private clubs across America. We’re delighted that Triumph Golf chose to partner with Concert Golf, reaffirming our reputation as the preferred partner for clubs seeking a seasoned operator and best-in-class experience for their members and staff.”

As previously reported by Community Impact, dozens of Pebble Creek neighbors spoke out at an April 9 city council meeting against a parkway expansion in order to preserve the character and safety of their neighborhood.

Major takeaways

Concert Golf’s other club locations are close in proximity to College Station, with Houston and Montgomery being directly east. Pebble Creek Country Club is in full operation after the acquisition was completed in late May.
