Donald Trump Jr. faced the wrath of Instagram over photos he posted of his daughter, Kai Trump, for her birthday.
Posting your kids on Instagram is a recipe for negative comments. Still, Don Jr. took things a step further by posting a photo of his 19-year-old daughter in a bikini, which inevitably drew ire from Instagram users.

“Happy birthday to my absolute favorite 19-year-old child,” the President’s oldest son wrote in the post, tagging his daughter. “I love you and continue to be amazed at the woman you’re becoming.”
Kai, Donald Jr.’s oldest daughter with ex-wife Vanessa Trump, appeared in the post’s 14 photos, but an image of her in a bikini while posing with her father is what really set commenters off.
“You post the first pics of her in a string bikini,” wrote one user, noting that Kai doesn’t post similar photos on her own social media. “What a horrible father and person you are,” added another critic.
Another comment said: “Insane post given the political climate you guys have created. Do you think you’re popular or just don’t care about exposing your family to vitriol?”

Kai recently graduated from high school and revealed that she will be attending the University of Miami in the fall. She shared plans to become a professional golfer (her mom is dating Tiger Woods, just FYI) and has expressed a desire to stay out of politics despite her grandfather’s occupation.
“To be honest with you, I stay out of politics completely,” she said during a January appearance on Logan Paul’s Impaulsive podcast. “I would never run. I don’t want anything to do with politics because I feel like politics is such a dangerous thing. I think if both sides met in the middle, everyone would be so much happier.”
Donald Jr. and Vanessa Trump were married from 2005 until 2018. They share five children: Kai, Donald III, Tristan, Spencer and Chloe.
