  1. I like Simon the majority of the time and his straight talking. However I think he’s being out of order in this instance. What’s his weight got to do with anything with the question asked. That’s fat shaming. There are not many individual sports where you play with background cheering or constant booing. Luke has done amazing for the darts whether you like it or not. Bought in a tonne of new fans and if he wasn’t playing, darts I reckon would suffer 🤷‍♀️

  2. He started to do the 'banter thing' on stage and on social media. Despite sound advice from a few pros around him. Not surprisingly crowds started with the boos and jeering! He knew full well what the darts is all about.

  3. The darts crowd love underdogs and hes not a underdog anymore. Frank Bruno scenario if frank bruno never lost and beat everyone they would have done the same to him.

  4. Littler body delivers the best darts

If he changes his body he could alter his body mechanics, so it’s not a simple as “you’re fat”

Not saying one way is right, but there is definately a massive potential downside to bring into the conversation

  5. The darts crowd is not "fun", it is drunk. Just an embarrassment to themselves and spoiling the experience of the viewer. Most of them are not even facing the stage. Look at what happened to Clayton in the last dart of the semi. Game ruined by a drunk.

  6. The young man has a choice as to his physique. His personal business if he aludes to a body teansformation. Bear in mind Phil Taylor carried some timber and at a point in his career….lost weight via diet, exercise and lifestyle changes. Result was a decline in form. There are plenty of hefty dart players who perform exceptionally well…..
If you give a crowd the verbals, the animated face gestures and come across on interviews as a mickey taker then you will get grief back from audiences…..gladatorial
John Lowe on the other hand was the personification of cool, his force was to remain calm even under considerable pressure. When interviewed he was very diplomatic and praiseworthy towards opponents.
I am sure Luke Littler will mature as the years roll on and learns from each opportunity how to avoid adversities often of his own making. Think twice, speak once in that order may be a far better tatic to not enrage, provoke or rattle the cage of audiences in the future.
Fantastic talent, skill and tenacity to overcome the tightest of matches at critical moments is the mark of a true and most worthy champion.

  7. Who are you to decide what someone can and cannot eat Simon?Your own Super Intelligence failed in business and now you're reduced to dropping names with whom you dinner with. Show some respect to the winners in our society like luke littler . As a Disk jockey you need to be learn you dont know everything.

  8. I don’t think he’s going to be a burden on the NHS.. first of all he probably won’t get an appointment and second with the prize money.. I’m guessing he’s going private

  9. Lets be honest would he say the same to phil taylor about his weight …….no ….sometimes to have a little weight helps with strenth throwing the darts i know this as i play im 13 stone you gonna say i should be a spelk like a footballer who needs to be fit to run darts is about skill not weight

  10. Imagine this clown telling Beau Greeves to 'cut back on the biscuits'. What does Litlers weight have to do with anything? He's a darts player, hardly a profession known for chiseled physiques.

  11. Simon is spot on. People who don't care about you will blow smoke up your. People who care tell you things you don't want to hear but actually are a lot more caring than you think.
