We play disc golfer, so that means we want discs and more discs and more discs. Which begs the question: when do you know you’ve found the one for you? I put them to the test this month to see who would come out as the best.
Thank you so much to Another Round Disc Golf for helping to make this month possible!
And thank you to all of those who voted and shared their favorite putter with me. It was a joy to talk disc golf with you.
Courses Featured This Month:
Suwanee Creek – Wooded and technical, great for technical lines
Little Mulberry – Challenging woods golf, but fair

Love the editing!! Keep up the great work! See you next month!
Disc golf is supposed to be fun, so if it’s fun to try new discs, do that. If it’s fun using old faithful, do that. I go in sports of both.
Side note, I always carry a different putting putter in case the starter is having a bad day. Then I give my back up a chance for a week or two and see what happens. Usually the new starter inevitably shows his lack of experience and the seasoned vet comes back to save the day.
Haven't watched the vid yet. Just here to say:
Alpacas.
My first time watching a video of yours. Incredible.
I did the same thing when choosing a putter. Except I always buy putters in pairs. Gotta have 2× of each! My brackets led me to the Innova Whale. Which I switched from this spring to the Prodigy Good Boy. I always play disc golf with my dog and it's just fun to say "good boy" whenever I make a putt, then ask my dog "who's a good boy?"
Amazing editing style. Instant sub. Keep it up!
Half the people watching this video went to search for a Wizard putter with a huk lab stamp. And to their dismay there are non for sale 😢. That must have been a used disc. Sadness. Are you 💯 certain thats a wizard with that stamp?? Lol 😅
Player Two by DDG is all a man needs.
Aviar, Wizard, Warlock, Bleak, Cloak, Colt, Rot, Luna, Player Two, Inner Core, Pilot, and Wren are all in the collection and have been used in rounds in the last 8 months. Pilots might overtake the Bleaks in the bag if they keep up their percentages.
The best putter is the one you actually practice with weekly. Do the work and the confidence builds and the comebacks start to disappear from the card.
I've practice with ten putters of three to four different molds. My practice routine showed that inside C1, the mold didn't matter and you should be indifferent at 12' 15' 18' 23' 28' 32'… shouldn't matter… Push/Spush/Spin/Turbo/Weird Horse Shoe… doesn't matter just do the work. Rythm/Focus Point/Consistent Release/Follow Through/Stay Inside the Basket Silhouette… wash rinse repeat.
I tried a ton of Putting putters and the finalist ended up being the Gateway Eraser Wizard, DGA Stone Steady, MVP Anode and The K3 Reko. The Reko in feel is basically a Wizard with a micro bead. I really prefer the big bead so it was a toss up between the Stone Steady and Eraser Wizard for hand feel with the Anode and Reko a very close second. Performance wise they were all rock solid and I don't think I could really go wrong with any of them. Even today I can not pick a true winner because I like them all.. In the End I chose the Wizard and was having great success.. But then,.. the Climo Cliff came out and my first name is Cliff, so I felt obligated to try them out. The Cliff is a beadless putter but in the base plastic feels very nice. I have been gaming it for a little over a month and having pretty good success. But the little voice inside my head really wants me to go back to a beaded putter…. So I might have to revisit the DGA Stone Steady, Wizard or Anode and do another shootout.
For Runners up, I will add that the Viking Rune is also a really underrated putter. Its slim in profile but has a very nice big bead. Another Runner Up would have been the Discmania Flex 3 D line P2x. Gannon Buhr putts lights out with his and its a pretty solid performer..
For Throwing putters, I use the Axiom Proxy and the Gateway Shaman.
Masterpiece…
Can’t wait for you to try out the mint pickle, just switch from pa3 to it and if you like shallow bead, they’re money!
So good, loved the work to connect meaning-feel-fun. Great editing!
This feels like premium disc golf content $$$
I really thought you’d end up with the Focus. Just got two Ricky Jawbreakers, and so far so good. Great video, getting more creative every month. Enjoy watching you in action filming. I’ll keep the pads clean for ya!
your edit is top notch in disc golf content. When I started disc golf, my initial putter was neutron Watt. then Yeti Aviar, Pixel, Birdie Disc Marvel, Climo Cliff, then went back to Watt since MVP released electron firm version of it 🙂
I'm still going back and forth on Cliff and Watt just to mix things up.
Dude this journey reminds me of everytime i wanna switch from the Innercore for fun of trying something new, i always ALWAYS come back because its just the putter that works and feels best for me! Another great video Kevin, idk how these videos keep getting better but they do!
Opening shot is a thing of beauty
Switched from PA-3 to Rook
I find the omission of the Banger GT highly offensive and hurtful. You will be hearing from top attorneys in regards to this most heinous of oversights.
Holy peak video!! 🔥🔥
