"HE CHANGED MY LIFE FOR THE BETTER" | Lennon on Martin O'Neill

“HE CHANGED MY LIFE FOR THE BETTER” | Lennon on Martin O’Neill

The Scottish Cup final is always a special occasion, but for Neil Lennon, there will be that extra bit of emotion.

The Dunfermline Athletic manager will be going up against his former club Celtic, but also his old manager Martin O’Neill, attempting to make history.

Lennon’s former captain Scott Brown takes him a walk around Hampden Park to get inside the man behind the Pars.

  1. Brown for Celtic manger! Il hope this everyday till it happens be it a decade away or years. Ginger legend and a total legend ๐Ÿ‘

  2. After last weekend it wouldnt be a disaster if Lenny won it.
Can see them getting the 1st goal or even winning it..Lennys teams can beat anyone on their day

  3. As a Celtic fan a would love Lenny to be Celtic boss again and Broony as his number 2 he puts heart guts balls an winning mentality in every player an club he's managed Robbie kean,Jan's askou and many others linked to us are no where near Lennon's talents as a manager which well outway his flaws

  4. Just a couple of Celtic legends!!! Add MoN and this the most enjoyable final you could imagine!
Would love to see us win but if Lenny wins sending sevco to the conference league I wont be mad ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚

  5. I can remember when Scott brown played for Hibs and he was a good player then and Lenny when you came to manage Hibs a lot of the fans thought that it was a wynd up but obviously it wasn't and so glad that you took the job at Hibs

  6. Celtic were luck to have a man like Lennon involved with the club with such a love for the club. Anyone who turned on him in the past should be ashamed. Man went through hell and back all because of his allegiance and being from the north at that time.

  7. Thought that was a nice touch with Lennon said I could do with you in my team on Saturday and youโ€™re the last person I wouldโ€™ve released โค

  8. Lenny and Broony are both Celtic legends. Lenny gave everything to try and beat us at Hampden, and he deserves real credit for what he achieved with the Pars. I hope he gets them up to the premier next season; heโ€™s earned that chance.

  9. This was a great video from start to finish, great stuff.

One of the things that surprises me in conversations about Neil Lennon and Martin O'Neill is nobody gives Brian Clough any credit. Think about it long enough and you'll get it. If Neil was a player back in the mid to late seventies Cloughie would have had him signed.

The Championship will be very interesting next season, I'll be the armchair coach and give Lenny some advice for next season. Stop the hoofball, I watch games every week in the Championship and watched both legs of Partick, I was amazed and frustrated at how much Dunfermline were hoofing the ball in the air. Look at teams like St Johnstone and other teams that have gone up, if you play the ball on the ground and keep it on the ground you can win the league. Get a few older heads in that can play 90, fine players for hoofing the ball. This goes for all teams from amateur to League 2 or your school team.

I think next season is going to be pretty exciting, I think Partick and Dunfermline will be challenging for the lead, if Mark Wilson stays at Partick I think it may be a better chance for them next season than it was this one, St Mirren were very lucky to stay up which is another extraordinary story. Livingston honestly this could be very bad for them, I worry they may not get back up for a while but may make playoff. Arbroath will be strong again no doubt.

The elephant in the room is Inverness, definitely worth an each way bet to place. As a Highlander the one thing I never take for granted is games against Inverness or Ross County, its chaos theory. I think they may make playoffs. If I had to pick the top four at the end of next season and add an each way bet on Livingston to be relegated (sorry Livi fans)

    1. Partick Thistle
    2. Dunfermline
    3. Inverness CT
    4. Livingston

Dunfermline to face Kilmarnock in playoff. Hit me up in a year.
