The ShopRite LPGA Classic’s purse of $2 million is one of the smallest on tour, yet among the most meaningful. With the U.S. Women’s Open staged next week on the other side of the country in Pacific Palisades, California, many of the game’s biggest stars chose to skip the Atlantic City staple. That left the door open for a number of players to have a career week.
While Frenchwoman Celine Boutier won the 2026 ShopRite LPGA Classic for the second time in her career, closing with a final-round 66 to win by one over Arphichaya Yubol at Seaview Golf Club in New Jersey, a number of players enjoyed career days on Sunday.
Ireland’s Lauren Walsh, a rookie on the LPGA, made $133,344 for her career-best solo third. Polly Mack and overnight leader Soo Bin Joo both took a career-best share of fourth, making $77,742.
“I was trying my best to stay mentally calm,” said Joo, “and I think I still got to work on that a little more.”
For Boutier, the victory ended a tournament drought that dates back to 2023. The $300,000 first-place check takes her career earnings to $9.5 million.

“I feel like my game has turned around the last few weeks,” said Boutier. “I could see it coming together, and I definitely did not expect it to come together this week and today, but I’m super excited to be back in the winner’s circle.”
