  1. I’ve recently bought a pair of Puma Fast R 3 and I was blown away in my first run, not much because of how fast they are, but because they really seem to agree with my gait: I usually struggle loading my big toe (something that I think I have in common with Andrea?) and with these shoes I can fully use it. What daily trainer has a similar feeling/geometry? Thanks

  2. I use my Brooks Hyperion Max 3 for long runs. I loved the Hyperion Max 2 as a performance training/race shoe, but the 3 & 4 are too heavy and are definitely a daily trainer, that can pickup the pace, but is not designed for longer faster paces. Hopefully, like a lot of brands who tried the side cutout like Suacony, the Max 5 next year will go with a center outsole cutout. There are better ways to remove weight and help with pronation and return it to a performance trainer. Brooks says they are redesigning the Hyperion line for 2027, hence no Hyperion 4 and just minor updates to the Max 4.
