  1. Thank you so much for sharing the Morgan&Morgan initiative. You're such a brillant and kind mind. Great to share those values above basketball man.

  2. Love Harper. Two way skill, incredibly smart, great feel, and the ability to finish will make him a highlight reel. However, but no one talks about the "masterful" tank job the Spurs have done. They tanked to get Wemby (ROY). They tanked to get Castle(ROY). They tanked to get Harper. No other team has had three top 4 picks in consecutive years.

  3. Manu as a comparison is so apt. Harper doesn't score many points but each bucket he makes is high impact, especially that dagger 3 today.. He feels like a Harden now on the old OKC. He'll dominate with his own team in future. I find his layup package quite Zion like, but this dude can do it both hands it's too good.

  4. Dylan was drafted to a team that was already on the rise, making it challenging to fully assess his potential amidst the presence of other exceptional players. Despite this, he demonstrated flashes of brilliance throughout the season and playoffs. It’s important to recognize that when you have the number one shot blocker dominating the paint, you can take risks on defense. You can be more physical and slightly overaggressive, not worrying about your opponent beating you to the basket because you have Wemby control over the paint.

  5. He's tremendous, but the tag line 'unteachable skills' is nuts – his dad played 15 seasons in the NBA, and won FIVE rings. His mom was a college hooper, coached high school basketball, and directly coached him. He followed his brother to Rutgers, where both of them ultimately left to join the league. His skills are a direct result of a lifetime of teaching, and mentorship, married to the genetic lottery of athletic ability he's got, all working together to prepare him for the one job he's doing, where he happened to get drafted by the best franchise in the modern NBA, next to a potential hall of famer on the court, under the guidance of an organization loaded with hall of famers (most of whom he already knew, bc he grew up around NBA legends). The kid is a testament to teaching, to opportunity, and to what a support structure can allow someone to accomplish with it.

  6. everyone keeps forgetting Dylan's dad is a 5x champ, played with jordan.his brothers in hte laeague. growing up in that competitive environement not even close to rookie brain.

  7. Not comparing them. But seeing Dylan play good. I wonder how’d VJ would do in the spurs system but thinking about it. Dyl is more of a pure point than vj
