The PGA Tour returns to Colonial for the 80th time this week, where seven of the top 20 players in the world are set to compete at the Charles Schwab Challenge. Ben Griffin is the defending champion and is in the field playing for the $9.9 million purse with the winner taking home $1.782 million.

J.J. Spaun (9) is the highest ranked player in the field. Followed by Russell Henley (12), Ludvig Aberg (13), Robert MacIntyre (15) and Justin Thomas (16). It’s the first time Thomas has played here since 2022, where he missed the cut. He tied for fourth place two weeks ago at the PGA Championship.

Alex Smalley returns to action for the first time since his near-miss at Aronimink, where he was in the final group both Saturday and Sunday at the PGA Championship before Aaron Rai performed final-round magic to capture his first major title.

Keegan Bradley, Rickie Fowler and Gary Woodland are among the other notables playing.

Check back here Sunday after play is complete for updates.
