Trump Jr.: Celebrating Kai with ex Vanessa to marrying Bettina Anderson
It’s been a busy couple of weeks for the Trump family, particularly Donald Trump Jr.
President Donald Trump’s oldest son tied the knot with Florida socialite Bettina Anderson on Thursday, May 21, according to a Palm Beach County marriage license obtained by the USA TODAY Network’s Palm Beach Daily News.
The couple is also set to hold a ceremony soon, though the groom’s father announced on Friday, May 22, that he would not be able to attend, saying he felt compelled to stay in Washington, D.C., amid the Iran war.

On Monday, May 12, 2026, social media influencer and aspiring golf pro Kai Trump, the eldest daughter of Donald Trump Jr. and ex-wife Vanessa Trump, turned 19 years old. The Instagrammer with almost 3 million followers and YouTube vlogger posted photos of her birthday celebration with her parents and family.
On Friday, May 15, 2026, Kai Trump graduated class of 2026 from the Benjamin School in Palm Beach County, Florida. Kai Trump’s classmates there have included Sam Alexis Woods and Charlie Axel Woods, the children of golf legend Tiger Woods, who is currently dating Vanessa Trump. In August 2024, Kai Trump committed to playing golf for the University of Miami in fall 2026.
Vanessa Trump announced on Wednesday, May 20, 2026, that she was diagnosed with breast cancer. “While this isn’t news anyone expects, I’m working closely with my medical team on a treatment plan,” she wrote on Instagram. “I am staying focused and hopeful while surrounded by the love and support of my family, my kids and those closest to me.” The 48-year-old has been a part of Donald Trump’s family since 2005, even after separating from the president’s son.
