Pinehurst No. 4 might be the most overrated course in North Carolina. More on that in tomorrow’s review. 👀
Episode 15 of playing the Top 100 public golf courses in America in under a year.
Before the round, make sure you stop by the Golf Hall of Fame. It’s right next door and honestly one of the coolest parts of the Pinehurst experience.
As for No. 4…
It’s much wider and more forgiving than No. 2. If No. 10 feels wild and adventurous, No. 4 is much more traditional golf. Fairways are generous, trouble is mostly in front of you, and I found it surprisingly playable for a course ranked this highly.
Maybe the greens were more receptive than normal, but I expected a lot more teeth.
Managed to get up and down on 18 for a 76.
Then headed to Pik N Pig for BBQ… and honestly that meal might’ve been more memorable than the golf. 😂
👇 Which Pinehurst course would you rank highest: No. 2, No. 4, No. 8, or No. 10?
15 courses down. 85 to go.
