I don't have a Wilson 8802 or 8813 putter, but if you're talking minimalistic putters I have a couple of Ray Cook "Blue Goose" putters with the floating goose on the face, from the era when Scotty Cameron was designing them, nice putters for sure. I also have some Spalding TP Mills putters, they were very affordable in the day and under appreciated, Maxfli by Tad Moore another great putter. Thanks for another great video.
As a vintage golfer focused on the 2003 – 2017 era I would love to see what your thoughts are on the Ping Redwood, Anser Milled and Vault 1.0 series. Gaming a like new Redwood Piper and wondering it should just be make it a shelf queen and start gaming a Vault Voss?
Just picked up a vintage 8813 this winter. On my todo to play 9 with it.
I've got a Scottish made 8813 and a few similar flanged blades by other UK makers. Very nice to putt with.
I have a 1964 8802 putter sitting in my putter studio. The head is in good shape with some bag chatter; the shaft has lost some its chrome luster. I wish it could talk, I bet it would have some really good stories to tell.
