Srixon Q Star Tour and Q Star Tour Divide 2026 Golf Ball Review

The brand new Srixon Q-Star Tour and Q-Star Tour Divide are here, and in this video we put both models through our complete golf ball testing process to see how they perform from tee to green. From driver distance and iron consistency to wedge spin, greenside control, feel, durability, and putting performance, we break down everything you need to know about these new urethane-covered golf balls.

The new 2026 Q-Star Tour lineup features updated technology including a softer feel, improved Spin Skin+ coating, enhanced aerodynamics, and a new biomass urethane cover designed to deliver tour-level performance for moderate swing speed players. The Divide version also returns with its bold 50/50 visual design, helping golfers see spin, improve alignment, and track ball flight easier than ever.

In this review, we compare the standard Q-Star Tour directly against the Q-Star Tour Divide to find out if the visual technology changes performance, feel, visibility, or consistency in real-world testing. We also discuss who these golf balls are best suited for, how they compare to previous generations, and whether the Divide technology is actually useful on the course.

Topics covered in this review include:

Driver distance and ball speed
Iron spin and launch characteristics
Greenside spin and stopping power
Putting feel and roll
Visibility and alignment benefits of the Divide design
Durability testing
Compression and feel differences
On-course performance impressions
Comparison to previous Srixon Q-Star Tour models

  1. what a refresh pull, been waiting on this one! The red one doesnt show it very well online listings, but the red is much softer this year, should be easier to find is the theory

  2. Did the “feel” section go away? I might have missed it though. That’s always the section I go back and review from past videos, as that will make or break a ball for me, regardless of performance honestly.

  3. I picked up a box of these and love them! I use the divide, and the alignment has shaved strokes off my game while putting. I found they hold a firm green really well. I go between these and Vice Pros, but I am finding these are my go-to balls now. Not as long as the vice but the short game with them for me has been a big help. Using these, I found I shaved 6-7 strokes off on an average round

  4. Tried a few dozen, left disappointed. Significant distance loss off the driver at avg swing speed. I’m back to using old vice pros at $29/box. I don’t know if it’s the divide cover or spin or the softer compression causing the driver loss. Everything else was ok but nothing stood out to me.

  5. I played last year's Q Star Tour for the first time this weekend. Was dead straight off the tee, not that long, but man was it money around the greens. I always play the yellow ball though and I wonder if there's a similar difference.

  6. Curious why you don't recommend divide for HCP above 15. Isn't that what the least skilled golfers need most – lots of forgiveness and consistency? Just curious about your reasoning

  7. Just bought 2 get 1 free from dicks of the divide getting all 3 colors, I only play white in doors, because of having the hardest time picking out white golf balls in green grass and really don’t like losing golf balls, especially expensive ones , my Uncle who I play with couldn’t care less while finding lost golf balls to replace not understanding the differences between a good ball and a cheap not so good. But I really like golf balls like Divide that stand out, only thing I didn’t like was the matt finish which is gone for 26 and far as game just looking for good feel off the putter and consistency across the clubs and accuracy. Thanks for the review

  8. That's crazy… the launch on those divides are crazy. Are the QST a matte finish? Apologies if you already answered that.

You did that twice, with same results. I remember years ago I found the qst divides stopped easier, I always thought it was the finish

  9. Well overall im pretty hopeful. I love the q star divide. Although 2024 was a huge let down hopefully this year will bring some new life. I was able to snag a few more boxes of the 2022 q star version and have decide to give the ultispeed a go. Ill have to add the new divide on the roster.

Performance wise I hit my shots on the thinner side so having premium launch amd spin is where its at for the height and mitigated side spin so promising overall.

  10. I play the yellow ball version here in Oz, decent spin and distance, and better accuracy for me than your White ball dispersion chart, but then we are all different hey…
