PGA Tour in CHAOS: 7 Stars Now MISSING From the US Open — And Nobody Knows Why

Welcome to PGA Flash — your home for PGA Tour news, updates, and in-depth golf analysis.

In today’s video, we break down the story nobody has put together in one place yet — seven of the biggest names in professional golf missing from the 2026 US Open field at Shinnecock Hills. Tiger Woods in a treatment centre after his arrest in Jupiter Island, with the USGA chief already saying he’d be super surprised to see him there. Phil Mickelson playing one round all season and giving no timeline. Sergio Garcia showing up to final qualifying in Dallas and missing by two shots. Tony Finau ranked 119th. Thomas Detry losing a playoff by one stroke at Walton Heath. We go through every name, every story, and what all seven gaps together actually say about the state of professional golf right now.

Everything here is covered from a true golf fan’s perspective — honest opinions, real reactions, passion for the game. No hype, no fluff, just golf talk the way fans actually experience it.

Do these absences show the real state of professional golf right now? Drop your answer below — I read every one.
