As part of my YouTube series “Ten lessons every golfer should know”, the fifth Paddy’s Golf Tip is on putting, which is in two parts.
In the first instalment, I explain the basic fundamentals of putting, covering the set up and the stroke. I demonstrate both aspects and explain why a short follow through encourages you to rap your putts.
I also explain why it is important to train your eyes to watch your putts and also provide a cure for the dreaded yips!

Padrig – I've been watching your videos for over a year now. Took your advise and practiced 5 days a week for two hours a day and I just shot a 10 under last week. Thank you!!!!
I don't get how the audio is so bad with a lav mic like that. Look up how bad audio affect peoples' length of engagement for videos. And get a better sound guy
Love it Padraig. Thank you for taking the time out to do these videos. So so appreciated.
Padraig, this golf thing of calling it "the yips" drives me nuts. It's nerves, anxiety. It's the the stupid pride of the rich who play golf….that refuse to really say it like it is. It's lack of physical and mental confidence, nervousness anxiety. Golfers just don't want to admit that they are like any person in society who can be subject to the harsh reality of confidence and anxiety issues. I cringe at this fabricated lingo for golf…..not wanting to be pooled in with the whole of society, or what can sometimes be labelled as a mental health concern. So many people fight this issue with their stupid false pride….lol. So few people actually admit to simply being "nervous"….and it gets in the way of their golf for years and decades on end. What the hell is the problem with being normal and fallible?? lol. I just laugh at this stupidity.
I really hope you forgot to take the alignment stick out your belt loops before walking back into the clubhouse 😂
I'm a.amazed at how much time pardraig gives to us warriors sluggers but we certainly are great full for all the lessons much obliged padraig ❤❤❤❤
I wait until the putter face reaches my big toe then lift my head. That's my trigger to lift my head.

Great stuff! You have a new putter! Never thought I would see you without a two ball!
If anyone told me in 2007 that my favourite golfer would one day be so accessible in a teaching capacity, I would have laughed in your face… Just crazy that a golfer as good as Padraig is taking the time out to do this. The man just finished T18 at the PGA at this age for God’s sake!!
The best
