Patrick Rodgers is one of the most accomplished college players of all-time. The Stanford prodigy won 11 times, tying Tiger Woods’ collegiate record. Despite his early success, the 33-year-old has not earned any wins in over 300 PGA TOUR starts.
In December 2025, Rodgers wrote a letter on his journey and how he’s found peace through adversity with his family. The letter explains the veteran’s story in his own words. 11 years later, Rodgers’ pursuit for a win continues, but he’s won much more in life than just a trophy.

Bro made $20m in prize money while playing golf. For a lot of people, even having a tour card is a dream come true.
$2 miillion this year alone… if you think about it though, Ricky Bobby never let Cal Naughton Jr win, but if Cal Naughton Jr had all those second-place finishes, he could probably win the whole cup for a year. So if you get enough top 10s, you kind of don't need to win to end up doing really well on the overall season.
A decent joke for this guy up until last season would be to say that he's the Temu Tommy Fleetwood because he actually has a really good career, he just didn't win yet.
