In this video I take on the challenge of a championship links golf course, The Island Golf Club. The Island Golf Club has hosted major amateur golf tournaments over the years and is a favourite spot for PGA tour players and DP world tour golfers to come and play before heading to The Open, one of golf’s biggest majors.
The Island Golf Club is located in Corballis Dublin and is a private and very exclusive golf club. I am a 5.2 handicap golfer who is looking to change the name of my YouTube channel and to do this I must break par on camera. This is a huge challenge for any golfer but to help me achieve this I have hired a caddy from The Island Golf Club.
I want to answer a few questions by doing this challenge.

Charlie is my nephew and a great young man, too. My wife and I visited the Island Club this past September and walked the course with him. Sadly, I didn't golf at that time but I look forward to coming back to play with Charlie on the bag! The staff at the Island Club are phenomenal, too!

Great content, as always Phillip, I was lucky enough to meet you and Rosanna on the day with a fellow member, Eric. We were heading out for 9. It would be great to get you back out in the spring. Charlie seems like a great guy but as a member I’m very disappointed that no sand bag was carried hence no sand used to repair divots
The Island is such a track, stands up to any links we have on the island! Charlie was brilliant! If any members would like to bring a guest let me know 😂 green fees are a bit pricey!
