Si Woo Kim reacts after a brilliant final-round 65 at THE CJ CUP Byron Nelson, a performance that was not quite enough to catch Wyndham Clark after his incredible Sunday 60.
Kim says this may have been the best golf he has ever played, especially with the putter in contention. He made 33 birdies for the week, just one shy of Sungjae Im’s tournament record, and says he was not tracking the number — only trying to make as many birdies as possible.
Despite the frustration of falling short, Si Woo takes plenty of positives from the week. He says that if he keeps knocking on the door, something is coming, and he can feel it.
Kim also praises Wyndham Clark’s final round, calling it impressive to shoot 60 on a Sunday, and looks ahead with confidence after another valuable experience in contention, including playing alongside Scottie Scheffler in the final group.
Congrats to both Wyndham and Si Woo. Excellent
and then?
