  1. These videos have really driven home the concept that I don’t need to reach for power. You can play really competitive golf with a smooth swing and some good short game play.

  2. I can't believe everyone over 60 doesn't use this swing. I know old habits are hard to break but the JV swing is money if you commit to it. Easy on the body and mind, the swing itself has minimal moving parts, etc.
You can even do the cool shot tracer in your minds eye before you send it. 😎

  3. I will say this swing totally works for me. I never liked turning my shoulders anyway, made for a nasty slice. My problem was I obsessed with keeping my left arm straight. Jim is obviously quite flexible in the upper body and makes it look easy, but once I realized in order for me to keep my shoulders still through impact (weight forward, setup closed) I needed to bend the elbow. Huge difference for me. I have seen in subsequent videos he is not concerned with the left arm at all as long as you follow his simple setup rules. Should have a million subs.

  4. Love that relaxed swing. Seriously, the mechanics (or lack thereof) of the JV swing aren’t so difficult; getting myself to swing at less than full tilt, though, that’s actually more challenging…even when I know better!! Pffthahaha 😂

  5. I love this, im not a jv swing devotee but however you swing it, just develop some basic skills and then go play with them. There was a lot of gold in this but we need to normalise playing shorter courses and learning how to score in them. Golf is so much more fun for average swing speed players when you can have irons into greens instead of fairways all the time

  6. You have given me my hobby back, 2 years in JVGA and I still cant believe the shots I’m able to hit, I never thought I would make it this far

  7. Probably my favorite thing is you dont really take divots. My biggest fear is breaking a wrist or something hitting the ground. Im gonna give your swing a whirl. I slice terribly

  8. If I go to your online course can I hit wiffle golf balls during the lesson or is that not good enough feed back. I want to learn this . I have a flat swing anyway so basically it’s just learning the new set up
