Vanessa Trump will reportedly resent Tiger Woods deep down for being in rehab as she learned about her breast cancer diagnosis.
The ex-wife of Donald Trump Jr., the president’s eldest son, announced her diagnosis in a personal update posted to Instagram on Wednesday. “I’ve recently been diagnosed with breast cancer. While this isn’t news anyone expects, I’m working closely with my medical team on a treatment plan,” she wrote.
She also shared that she had undergone a procedure earlier in the week and asked for privacy as she focuses on her health and recovery. “I am staying focused and hopeful while surrounded by the love and support of my family, my kids, and those closest to me,” she added. Meanwhile, Woods is ready to do ‘whatever it takes’ to salvage his golf career after rehab.

Woods, who Vanessa has been dating for just over a year, checked himself into rehab just weeks before her diagnosis, following a DUI arrest on March 27 in Jupiter, Florida.
Police reportedly found prescription opioid pills in his possession, which he had been using to manage chronic injury pain. He has pleaded not guilty. After spending 40 days in a facility in Switzerland, he has now returned home.
According to a source close to the couple via the Daily Mail, it was actually Vanessa’s own health scare that hardened her resolve to give Woods an ultimatum to seek help.

“This is why she was so adamant that he get treatment and get himself on the right track. She was facing a health scare and Tiger wasn’t able to really be there for her. So she was like, ‘I’m not going through this and holding your hand for addiction at the same time.’ That was basically the ultimatum she gave,” the insider said.
The source added that, regardless of what Vanessa says publicly, the absence during such a pivotal moment has left a mark.
“She may not be saying she resents that he wasn’t here for all that, but the fact remains that she was getting a cancer diagnosis and he wasn’t there. He wasn’t able to support her like she needed. So she may not be saying that, but I know Vanessa and I guarantee that she’s thinking it. I know that 100 percent.”

Those close to Vanessa described a woman determined not to be treated as fragile. “She’s got too much to live for, she’s going to fight like hell. She’s made that clear to everyone. Don’t pity her. Don’t treat her like she’s going to break. She’s going to fight and she’s going to beat this,” the source said.
Woods, who is now out of rehab, is said to be committed to supporting her through the battle ahead. “She stood behind him with his rehab, so now it’s time for him to repay the favor. Anything she needs, she’ll get from him. He’s worried, he’s concerned for her health and safety,” the source continued. “He wanted to be clean and sober and healthy so he could be her support. That’s what he’s doing now.”
Ivanka Trump was among the first to respond publicly, commenting on Vanessa’s post: “Praying for your continued strength and a swift recovery. Love you mama.”
