Yas Acres and Claude Harmon III Academy shine in Golf Sixes Round Two

The Emirates Golf Federation successfully concluded the second round of the 2025/2026 Golf Sixes regional competitions, with teams across Abu Dhabi and Dubai continuing to showcase the growth and development of junior golf within the UAE.

The Golf Sixes League, supported by The R&A and delivered by the Emirates Golf Federation, provides a fun and engaging team-based environment for young golfers, helping introduce competitive golf through a shorter six-hole format focused on participation, teamwork, and player development.

Round Two of the Abu Dhabi Pool was hosted at Yas Links Golf Club, where Yas Acres Golf Club delivered a strong performance to secure first place with a score of +8. Abu Dhabi City Golf Club followed closely behind on +9, while Yas Links Golf Club completed the top three positions on +10.

Meanwhile, the Dubai Pool competition took place at Emirates Golf Club, with Claude Harmon III Academy continuing their impressive season form to finish first on +5. Emaar and Montgomerie Golf Club shared second-place scores of +9, separated on countback.

Abu Dhabi Pool

1st – Yas Acres Golf Club (+8)

2nd – Abu Dhabi City Golf Club (+9)

3rd – Yas Links Golf Club (+10)

Following the summer break, teams will return for Round Three of the Golf Sixes League, after which the top three teams from each regional pool will qualify for the season-ending Golf Sixes Championship Final.

In an exciting development for the program, the Championship Final will be hosted alongside a HotelPlanner Tour event, providing participating junior golfers with the opportunity to experience a professional tournament environment and further strengthening the connection between grassroots and elite-level golf within the UAE.

The Emirates Golf Federation remains committed to expanding junior golf participation and strengthening its player development pathway through initiatives such as Golf Sixes, which continues to provide young golfers with valuable competitive and team experiences across the UAE.

The federation extends its appreciation to all participating clubs, players, coaches, parents, volunteers, and partners for their continued support throughout the season.
