Contested each May, the PGA Championship is the second major championship in golf’s annual rotation and perennially features the strongest field in the men’s game based on the Official World Golf Rankings. Known for dramatic finishes and notable champions, the Wanamaker Trophy—which has been awarded to the winner since 1916—is inscribed with names such as Rory McIlroy, Tiger Woods, Phil Mickelson, Jack Nicklaus, and Gary Player. 

The 2026 PGA Championship is set to take place between 14-17 May at Aronimink Golf Club. The reigning champion is Scottie Scheffler.

  1. Rory could've won this. I really wanna see Rory win the actual slam. I believe he can hold all 4 majors in the same year. If he can get the freedom back in his swing and putting stroke like he had back in 2011/2012. It's one thing to get rid of his hook but to re-form his entire game…no. There was a reason his was beating the field by 8 strokes. Tiger did the same. Lapped the field then he changed his swing/game and became like the rest of them. Too robotic.

  2. While every golfer will have "those" days and a bad attitude will emerge, it seems to me that is happening less and less with McIlroy. He is an extremely excellent golfer and hopefully people will see more of that play than consistent explosions. Hope so!!
