I don’t think this course is perfect. But I’m putting it above a whole lot of other major courses. Valhalla sucked comparatively! Niel nailed the long interesting putts and not the boring birdie putt contest. It’s not my favorite style of golf, but it’s different and it’s interesting as hell to watch.

Easy comparison for me: PGA championship usually sucks. This does NOT suck. Having said that if any of the current top 8 win I will probably be disappointed. Example: I like JJ Spaun as a dude but that feels like a waste of a major.

It’s way better having 35-40 with a chance to win it and all top players still a chance, then 10 players within 4 shots but realistically 4 players who can win.
The weekend they will ease up the pins and give the best a chance to go out and win it. But they will have to win it and no one is out there protecting a lead
This is honestly pathetic. You guys clowned this course and the PGA Champ all lead up and I assume everyone thought the winning score would be like -17. Now its -4 after two rounds and the course is clearly confounding these guys, and you're complaining?
I genuinely don't even think TC and Soly like watching golf anymore, Every single tournament or course just gets scrutinized beyond belief. Not every course is Augusta, not every tournament is the Masters, the golf has been difficult and confounding and its a proper major championship test. Good lord man.
