Paige Spiranac posted an image of her mom, which has wowed her millions of social media followers, leaving many to say the same thing.
Spiranac regularly likes to keep her personal life private, including not sharing images of any of her boyfriends over the years – although she has admitted to being previously married.
On Mother’s Day, the 33-year-old shared a picture of her and her mother for the first time with the caption: “Happy Mother’s Day to the best… I love you!”
Not much is known of Spiranac’s mother, with many, including her friends, seemingly surprised to see how much the two look alike.
Golf.com reporter Claire Rogers responded: “Omg you two are so identical that I almost thought this was a fake photo,” while many others had said the same thing. One fan commented: “This has to be AI? Come on. Lightnight never strikes twice like this.”
A third fan responding to the image wrote: “Happy Mother’s Day Paige. I can see where you got your beauty,” while one commented: “She looks like your twin sister!
Spiranac’s mom does not appear to have a social media page, and the former professional golfer-turned social media personality posted a picture of her after playing at the Wynn Las Vegas course.
Spiranac has explained why she chooses to keep her personal life away from the public eye, previously stating: “I got married young, and when it didn’t work out, I decided that I was never, ever, ever, ever going to share my personal life online ever again.
“It’s more for my mental wellbeing and my sanity. I am so vulnerable online, and I share so much about myself – I’m very open and honest – that I want to keep a little part of something to me, and that is just what I have decided to do.
“People would assume that it’s because ‘oh, guys follow you and you don’t want to lose your audience.’ No. Really this is just to protect my sanity, and I just never want to go through that again. Because if you never put anything online, you never owe anyone an explanation.”
