I think this setup is proof that they are fully capable within course setup of neutralizing distance and putting a premium on driving accuracy, and accuracy across the whole bag and putting without touching the equipment. They just don’t do it very often because it doesn’t yield your usual winners.

Golf fans are tired of hearing the story about his iron covers. We know the story it’s still stupid and the martini tees top the cake.
Easy setup leads to exciting TV golf. Hard setup leads to boring golf on TV. I liked smart golf, so I liked the PGA setup. To win a major requires a lot of patience.
All I've heard is one of my favorite players didn't win so it wasn't a good tournament..I'll never understand the golf community..this was an incredible fun weekend of golf. Got to see these robots look human for four days it was amazing .. congratulations to my least favorite golfer Aaron Rai..incredible win never flinched ..deserves everyone's respect
Nothing against Rai he totally went out and won it but that’s one of the worst major courses and set up I’ve seen in a long time maybe 1 exciting hole found it extremely boring even tho it was a stacked leaderboard
People actually dont like to watch guys go 25 under. I prefer tourneys where accuracy matters. Thats what pro golf should look like. Not just bombs and wedges in on every single course. The best guys can and should seperate themselves on any course
