Tiger Woods’s Gulfstream G550 reportedly touched down at Palm Beach International Airport on Wednesday following its departure from Switzerland earlier that day.
The aircraft allegedly flew back from Zurich, where Woods has been residing since early April. The golf legend’s jet generated speculation for a second occasion after enthusiasts believed they identified the plane during The Masters.
Florida prosecutors have been granted permission to obtain Woods’ prescription medication records in connection with the incident.
TMZ Sports revealed that Woods’ $50 million aircraft returned from what was characterized as one of the globe’s most exclusive medical institutions, reports the Mirror US.
Early reports indicated that Woods’ treatment involved a 90-day program he could exit voluntarily at any point. He came back to the United States 40 days into a personally arranged stay abroad.
The 15-time major winner’s break was precipitated by overturning his Land Rover SUV on Jupiter Island in Florida. Woods informed officers he was distracted by his phone and radio and that he hadn’t consumed drugs or alcohol prior to the incident. Woods refused to provide a urine sample but successfully passed a breathalyzer test, authorities reported.
Officers discovered two white pills in his possession identified as hydrocodone. Following his not guilty plea to the charges, Woods took to X four days later to address the matter, even as his company, Sun Day Red, maintained its regular merchandise and product launches.
He notified fans that he would be taking time away from competitive play, having already been absent from much of his recent career because of injury. Woods had returned to TGL competition just three days prior to the crash.
“I am stepping away for a period of time to seek treatment and focus on my health,” he wrote. “This is necessary in order for me to prioritize my well-being and work toward lasting recovery.”
This crash marked Woods’ fourth vehicle-related incident since 2009. The situation caused Woods to be absent from Rory McIlroy’s Masters Dinner at Augusta National and created significant strain between him and Vanessa, who remained silent on social media for several days following the event.
Trump reappeared on Instagram with a message directed at her daughter while making no mention of anything related to Tiger. She ended her silence a week later, posting a photo of the pair with the caption, “I love you.”
