  1. Play the fking game. You guys can do it, I promise. If you can’t, maybe we need to start rethinking what makes a good/elite caddy.

  2. Every pro hates slow play until they get put on the clock and then there is a million reasons why it’s slow

  3. Whats the balance? I feel like most of the extra time is spent around the green. When I am playing with my friends or by myself I will at most take a quick look from both sides and then pick a line and pray. But their careers and earnings depends on making putts. So I can get why they take a long time on each one.

  4. Strict shot clock is needed in golf like the pitch clock in baseball. It made such a different to watchability. Playing within that shot clock should be part of the skill of the game.

Also it should be on the individual and not the group.

  5. Honestly, seeing how well the pitch clock has done for baseball, they need an additional tournament volunteer that carries around a shot clock and they SHOULD hold every golfer to some sort of time limit once they have reached their ball.

  6. I like JT but he really is missing the point of why the authorities are trying to speed up the pace of play here.

  7. Yeah Keegan lookin like a dweeb wearing his whack ass Jordan’s. Even though you wear Jordan’s, still a fucking clown.

  8. I forgot who said it,Brooks maybe? It can’t be said enough, “They need to start stroking guys.” If these guys get stroked they will be motivated. Even rumors of a guy being stroked will motivate the other players.

  9. Like a guy I know, five practice swings, steps back to line it up, and hits a line drive out about 75 yds that deep dives to the left, every time, regardless of club.

  10. This is why slow play on tour is hard to fix, because the moment you start putting any responsibility on the players, they will protest and deflect. Instead of arguing with rules officials, he should just tell Keegan to pick up the pace.

  11. SHOCK COLLARS==slow play is shocked starting at a low level and ending with a tumble current taking a horse to the ground; at which point you are expelled for life.

  12. No penalty for this, just “put on the clock” but guy got stroked for 2 for being a minute late to his tee time 50 yards away.

  13. It’s nice to know these players have pace of play problems just like us on a random Saturday haha

  14. SHUT UP AND PLAY FASTER

You’re not supposed to get as much time as everybody needs to calculate the wind. You’re supposed to play on pace – if you’re struggling because it’s windy, so is everyone else. Course management is a skill – being able to calculate what you need quickly is a skill. Why take away the advantage of guys that can do it better and more quickly?

  15. “We weren’t holding up the group behind us”

That’s the absolutely WORST take on this. This is probably what every slow player thinks. It’s not up to the group behind you too pressure you enough to speed up, it’s up to you to KEEP UP WITH THE GROUP IN FRONT OF YOU.

This was literally the first thing I was taught on the golf course and needs to be the first thing everyone is taught and constantly thinking of.

Too many selfish and unaware players all the way from the PGA Tour to our local tracks and everywhere in between.

  16. I’m a single digit and play with a few other single digits, we routinely walk our track in a little over 3 hrs, “slow rounds” 3 hrs 45 mins to 4 hours tops. They can play faster

  17. With the speed, club waggles, 30 seconds over each shot, and morons shouting after every shot golf is just about unwatchable.

Maybe more people would watch if they actually got on with it. Then he would make even more money.

  18. In the MLB there was all this “he-hawing” about what impact a pitch clock would have on pitchers and the game. They just said F* it and implemented it and we have a better game experience because of it. Adapt or die
