Stop topping the golf ball. Keep the club behind your hands in transition.

If you constantly top your irons or struggle with inconsistent contact, your club path may be the reason.

In this golf lesson, we work on getting the clubhead “behind the hands” in transition instead of throwing it over the top and out in front. When the club gets too far outside, golfers pull the handle in, bend their arms, and create thin or topped shots.

Learning how to shallow the club properly helps you:
• Stop topping the golf ball
• Improve ball striking
• Create better compression
• Swing more from the inside
• Make cleaner contact consistently

This is one of the biggest differences between amateur golfers and skilled players.

Train the club to work from the inside and let the arms stay longer through impact.
