As Titleist staff member Brad Faxon explains, step one for how to read greens better is finding the straight putt. Doing this will help you gain a general sense of the pitch of the green, making it easier to determine how any putt will roll and break.

But we still need to consider the grain right? It's a good tip for a very basic green reading. I hope you can make videos for advance green reading for us. Thank you so much.
Genius 👍🏼
well brad help me find straight
Every course is different tho..
Can I find the straight putt and then just move my ball there?
Not one second devoted to actually FINDING straight!
Total waste of time
I believe by straight he means from his example of a 10 foot putt find a straight putt that is below ( if it’s five it breaks right to left if it’s seven it breaks left or right so if you’re trying to find straight ) the hole and work your clock from 6 o’clock to 12 o’clock meaning that 12 o’clock is straight and downhill. The speed is the only thing that would change.
I think that’s why he doesn’t have to show it to us
