I’d like to see you try that shaft in the PXG Lighting Tour head. I gained about 6 yards and better dispersion on my AI Smoke TD. It was also better than the new Callaway’s and the TM QI 4D (LS,Core Heads). I was fit with the new KBS PWG shaft.(lol I may have those letters wrong). I Love watching you rip at it James.

James, I thought you switched to a Quantum Callaway Triple Diamond Max with the Oban shaft?
Go back to Wilson Carbon, you hit it over 300 and with a stock shaft. Nothing you've hit so far has come close.

Im terrible too…have about 4 shafts for a mini driver..total versatility…loft, length but also have slightly different shaft profiles. Used market for quality shafts is popping rn!
With all the amazing technology in golf equipment today you can get fit into any major brand. I tried all the major brands and the top 3 were Cobra OPTM Max K, Callaway Quantum and PXG Lightning. All 3 were signing better results for distance, dispersion, feel and sound and went with the PXG because my father, uncles and grandfather were all US VETS, so I want to support a company owned by a vet and that honors vets by offering veterans a discount ❤
James, I was long with this QI4D core driver and wanted it to be my new gamer, but out on the course I found it to be not very forgiving, and flight to low.
My old SIM Max on the course was superior to the QI4D core. I am a mid handicap and a mid swing speed. I am having to go back a start over.
I feel like the minority, as everyone else raves about the QI4D. I have always been a TM driver guy for many years, so it is not comfortable for me to make a change, just not sure what to change to.
Great video James, we need a head to head video between the Callaway and Taylormade although with the release of Titleist just around the corner that one might come into the mix

This video goes to show that fixing your swing is what actually works. All this tinkering with settings and weights is all rubbish and a money pitting scam. Fix your swing and contact it doesn't matter what tech is in your clubs at that point.
Here we go again with the new driver! Back to SGGT for tweaking AGAIN! If you are paying for the custom fit you need to get your money back because nothing sticks! 😂
