Kai Trump has shared details about a “scary new chapter” in her life, becoming visibly emotional in her most recent vlog.
The 18-year-old granddaughter of President Donald Trump has been documenting her life for fans on YouTube, and her newest upload saw her reflect on a major milestone as she marked her final days in high school. Kai was shown tearfully discussing her future alongside her friends in the video.
Speaking in the video, which chronicled her last week of high school, Kai said, “All right, guys. Well, this is not like the normal way I start my vlogs, but this is the Sunday before my last week of high school.
“I normally don’t cry. Like I don’t like I’m I’m not a very emotional person, but like it’s very sad because these are the people I’ve been with since day Florida. I know. They were all going to different college and all three of us were going to Miami, but we’re all splitting up now and it’s really sad.” It comes after Trump was caught on camera doing a shocking act to Melania at an inappropriate moment.

She then found it difficult to maintain her composure as she turned to her friend, “you talk,” before adding, “This is literally our last week of high school ever. This is our last Sunday.”, reports the Irish Star.
“Like I like how Well, this is very sad, guys, because I don’t know. I’ve had a great time in high school. I’ve met a great group of people, great class and school and everything like that.”

Kai then confessed to feeling apprehensive yet eager about her future, saying, “Um, now it’s on to the next chapter. It’s on to the next chapter. And it’s scary, but it’s exciting, but it’s sad. It’s like all the emotions in one. Tomorrow’s our senior sunrise.”
Kai recently disclosed that she experienced a medical emergency requiring a steroid injection after attending the 2026 Masters, following a “scary” allergic reaction that developed at Augusta National.
In a separate video posted to her channel, documenting her senior prom preparations, she detailed the concerning allergic episode.
“I was using hand soap on my face when I was at Augusta, to wash off my makeup, and I started getting these bumps on my neck,” she said. “I had to get a shot – a steroid shot.
“The needle was like this big,” she demonstrated, using her fingers to indicate the needle’s size. “Now, I don’t have a rash anymore. But I had an allergic reaction to the hand soap on my face. I have very sensitive skin. It was so, so scary,” she concluded.
It comes amid growing concern about the president’s erratic behavior – with Trump making a disturbing sex comment on stage that stunned his audience into silence.
