Jon Rahm Gets Honest About LIV Golf, His Ranking and the PGA Championship

Jon Rahm speaks ahead of the 2026 PGA Championship at Aronimink Golf Club and gives an honest assessment of his game, LIV Golf, his world ranking and the chance to make Spanish golf history.

Rahm discusses what it would mean to become the first Spanish player to win the PGA Championship and complete the Spanish Grand Slam, joining the legacy of Seve Ballesteros, José María Olazábal and Sergio García across the majors.

He also opens up about the noise around LIV Golf, whether he has any regrets about his decision, why he does not need a ranking to know where his game stands, and how the crowd support at Quail Hollow reminded him how he is truly perceived by the public.

Rahm also talks about Aronimink, modern golf architecture, aggressive driving, par-3 strategy, his current form compared to his major-winning years, and his competitive mindset: every decision is made to win.

  1. They take tree out and then complain the the balls are too long? Length equals dispersion. It is not the ball that is too long it is that dispersion is being rewarded by removing trees. Don't tune down the ball, instead make hitting long a risk reward/ decision.

  2. Honestly, I love that Rahm spend the last 4 minutes answering in Spanish. It's simply him doing right by his fans and supporters back home, and I can't help but respect that.

  3. He does not deserve to come back this year or next year at all!!! I don’t care who he is!!! They back stabbed the PGA for blood 🩸 money and were selfish and they new exactly what they were doing!! Don’t even say people make mistakes! It was about the money and he didn’t give a crap!! All about him!!! And goes for the rest of these guys! need of story!!!

  4. Ah, it's Mr Integrity again. Despite pledging loyalty to the PGA Tour, he sold out to LIV (to grow the game). This switch of loyalty happened very soon after there appeared to be a PGA Tour and LIV merger in the near future. Oops, didn't quite work out did it Mr Integrity?

Anyway, thanks for growing the game……. and your bank balance.

The "charismatic" golfers who joined LIV, and there's just a few, devalued the PGA Tour when they sold out. They hurt (a little) that tours ability to raise revenue through sponsorship and TV rights income.

Want to come back? Sure, through the DP or Korn Ferry. And pay all your fines and shut up, please.

  5. Grateful❤️ As I retire this year earning 37K biweekly, this video made me stop and really think about what the next chapter of my life will look like 👀🔥. You've inspired me in so many ways, thank you for this shift in perspective.

  6. The pressure on him is going to be palpable; he has to get it together and get himself in contention. If he continues to struggle in Majors, it's going to become a wall, a wall of doubts. All the money in the world can't do a thing about that; but it does help with everything else.
