SDSU Women’s Golf wraps up day 2 at Stanford

STANFORD, Calif. (SDSU) – The South Dakota State women’s golf team is tied with Navy for 11th place after 36 holes of the NCAA Stanford Regional.

The Jackrabbits are +38 for the tournament and will play with the Midshipmen, along with Cal Poly, in Wednesday’s final round.

SDSU’s McKenzie Mages had another solid day on the course. The senior fired a 72 (+1) for the round, bringing her two-day total to 143 (+1). She is tied for 20th place and is four shots out of the top 10.

Reese Jansa and Molly O’Hara are tied for 57th place with +13 individual tallies and Hannah Boraas and Riko Danjo are one shot behind in a tie for 59th.

Host Stanford continues to lead the field. The Cardinal went -17 as a team Tuesday to extend its lead to 26-under. New Mexico State’s Emma Bunch maintained her lead over the individual field. She is -9 on the week.
