Scottie Scheffler has hosted a pair of notorious Tuesday night dinners before. He had another date this week, though the attire was a bit different.
Past PGA Championship winners gathered Tuesday night at Aronimink ahead of the 108th edition of the tournament to celebrate Scheffler’s win last year. The tournament’s social media accounts posted the photo Tuesday night, with Scheffler next to the trophy and 18 other champions flanking him on either side.
Notable absent from this year’s photo was Rory McIlroy, who is nursing a blister on his right pinky toe.
No menu is released for the PGA Champions dinner, nor is the supper as popular as the Masters Champions Dinner, but it remains an annual celebration of past PGA winners ahead of the current championship.
And Tuesday night was in celebration of Scheffler.
