New construction golf simulator

New construction golf simulator

Here is what I am looking at for my new construction golf simulator. I intend to have a built in look…I will have a trim carpenter available as part of build process.

I would like a hitting mat built in to a putting green for the flooring.

Main choice is between Uneekor Eye X02 and Protee VX.

Ceiling height is just over 10’.

Looking for good value in top of line projector.

Any thoughts or advice is appreciated.

  1. I have both the Protee VX and a Benq 936ST, and both are fantastic.

The projector is over 5000 lumens, sealed laser projection, great 4K image. As a short throw it’s mounted about 10 feet from my hitting area (for my screen size) which is perfect as it’s directly overhead and never in play for impact or shadows.

I have no experience with the XO. Protee has everything, and no subscriptions. Protee recently released an AI trainer for swing analysis and faults/drills/remedies, USB camera integration, and a ball carry optimizer. All free to their users.

  2. Both LM’s are good choices, just to confuse you more I’d add the VTrack to your list as the best value.

For projector the Epson PowerLite L630SU at 6,000 lumens is a great option, the** **BenQ LK936ST at 5,100 lumens is the popular choice, and the LG ProBeam BU53RG is a good option at 5,000 lumens but throw might limit the location options, and it’s model number is used by white van knock off scammers, so look carefully.
