2026 GCAA Division III PING Men’s Golf All-Region Team
Hamilton College’s Ramon Aroca Gonzalez ’26 (Madrid, Spain/Hastings School) and Jake Hendelman ’28 (Harrison, N.Y./Hackley School) were recognized by the Golf Coaches Association of America on Sunday, May 10 when the organization announced its 2026 NCAA Division III PING Men’s All-Region Team.
Aroca Gonzalez and Hendelman were two of 15 golfers on the all-region team in Region I. The rest of the region included players from schools located in New England.
Aroca Gonzalez made the all-region team all four years with the Continentals. He led Hamilton with an 18-hole stroke average of 73.00 in 20 rounds and finished in the top five in five tournaments and in the top 20 in two more. His worst score all season was an 80, which he recorded in the first round in the 2025 fall season opener, and he didn’t shoot worse than a 76 in the other 19. Aroca Gonzalez’s season best was a 3-under-par 67 in the final round of the Trinity College/University of Hartford Invitational in early April.
Hendelman collected his first all-region team award after he was second on the team with an 18-hole average of 74.30 in 20 rounds. He finished in the top 10 four times, including an individual medalist award in the Hamilton Invitational, and was in the top 25 in three other tournaments. Hendelman carded rounds under 80 on 17 occasions with a season-best score of 69 (three times).
