Three weeks ago, we were behind a group of four that took 3 hrs to play the front nine. The Irish guy in the pro shop read them the riot act and told them to sit on their @r$e$ on the 10th to let us through. Should have tipped him $500.

When you visit the UK there are four courses you have got to play where wind is a serious factor. Burnham & Berrow in Somerset, Saunton Sands both East and West in Devon and Trevose in Cornwall. Burnham and Berrow was the final qualifying venue for last year's Open. To say it was difficult would be easy to say but Justin Rose had to qualify and for 36 holes he finished 2 under. You have to play there Ron and maybe the others too. Didn't envy you playing at the course, I hate the wind

Great work chopper, l played there in 2022 and shot 120+ of a 12 hcp. And there was no wind!!

Played the Old Course at The National last week in similar winds. Took me fifteen minutes in the foetal position in the shower and a 6pm bedtime to begin to recover 😂😂😂
