Alex Fitzpatrick will take a one-shot lead into the final round of the Truist Championship.
The 27-year-old shone brightly at Quail Hollow Club on Saturday, mixing eight birdies and one bogey to reach a 54-hole total of 14-under par.
He leads by one stroke over Norway’s Kristoffer Reitan.
In-form Cameron Young fired the round of the day with a sensational eight-under 63 to jump into third and within two of the lead.
Young is looking to claim back-to-back victories on the PGA Tour having stepped into the winner’s circle at last week’s Cadillac Championship in Miami.

Denmark’s Nicolai Hojgaard is four back of the lead in a share of fourth alongside 36-hole leader Sungjae Im.
JJ Spaun, Justin Thomas and Tommy Fleetwood are not out of contention but will need something truly special if they are to challenge the leaders.
Masters champion Rory McIlroy, meanwhile, stumbled down the leaderboard in round three.
McIlroy, 37, is a four-time winner of this event but carded an error-strewn 75 that included six bogeys.

The final round of the 2026 Truist Championshop gets underway at 12:30 GMT (7:30am EDT).
Fitzpatrick and Reitan will tee off at 18:45 GMT (13:45).
