The Spallumcheen Golf and Country Club will once again host the Greater Vernon Chamber Cup on Friday, May 29.
The Greater Vernon Chamber of Commerce is inviting the local business community to swap the boardroom for the back nine, as the annual GVC Cup returns to the Spallumcheen Golf and Country Club.
Scheduled for Friday, May 29, the tournament will feature more on-course activities and high-stakes rewards as participants have the chance to win a brand-new Volkswagen Tiguan with a hole-in-one prize.
Sonja Harkness, executive director at the GVC, notes that the event is a premier opportunity for colleagues to have fun while making new connections within the North Okanagan’s vibrant business community.
The tournament will follow a Texas Scramble format, making it accessible for golfers of all skill levels. A shotgun start is scheduled for 1:30 p.m., and registration covers 18 holes of play, a power cart, and various swag and prizes throughout the day. The evening will conclude with a full chicken and ribs buffet dinner, providing a high-energy environment for networking with local leaders and innovators.
Beyond the competition, the event serves a charitable purpose. Special Olympics Golf will be on-site running a 50/50 draw to support their local teams.
Local businesses still have the opportunity to secure premium level and hole sponsorships to elevate their brand visibility among the region’s business elite. Packages are currently available by contacting the chamber directly.
Those interested in participating must register by the May 15 deadline.
